I have a corset top that i would like to turn into a burlesque costume by attaching feather boas along the bottom like a skirt, does anybody know how to do this and if i cut the boas in half or thirds will it fall apart?

I have not done this (sounds like a great idea though!) but I don't think if you cut up a boa it should be a problem. I've done it before to but on the ends of gloves and it worked out good. As for sewing the ends, you should leave about 1/4 of an inche of the end and hand stitch it underneath the corset... don't know if that makes sense. I can envision it, but don't know how to put it into words.

      hey,
i wouldn't sew it on too permanently, just because boas are pretty fragile and you'll have to replace the boa before the coset is worn out. Make sure you sew it on by stitching the white rope in the center of the boa to the coset.
      have fun
